Hanover & District Hospital Joins Mohawk Medbuy’s Growing Membership

Mohawk Medbuy Corporation (MMC) extends a warm welcome to Hanover & District Hospital (HDH), our newest Pharmacy Member. This continues a trend of growth for MMC, which supports hundreds of hospitals and non-acute care providers and continues to welcome new Members from health care and other public sectors.

Ally noted that HDH collaborates closely with nearby Grey Bruce Health Services (GBHS), an MMC Member since 2020. “Supporting both HDH and GBHS in their Pharmacy procurement can lead to significant savings of clinician time and money for both organizations. This allows them to reinvest it back where it’s needed – into frontline patient care,” he added.

HDH provides a full range of primary care and selected secondary care services to the population of Hanover and surrounding rural municipalities. The 28-bed hospital houses a 24/7 emergency department as well as medical, surgical, obstetrics, dialysis and ambulatory care services. Committed to excellence in rural health care, HDH partners with other local health service providers in the Grey Bruce area to optimize patient care throughout the region and has been accredited with exemplary standing three consecutive times.

MMC procures medical/surgical supplies, pharmaceutical products, capital equipment, and food/nutrition solutions, as well as offers services in warehousing and logistics, accounts payable and health care linens.
