Plexxus and Mohawk Medbuy Corporation Announce Distribution Collaboration

We are excited to announce that Plexxus and Mohawk Medbuy Corporation have finalized an agreement to consolidate our respective Distribution operations. Under the agreement, the current Mohawk distribution centre will be integrated into the Plexxus facility, which will be operated by Plexxus on behalf of both organizations. Each organization’s sourcing and customer order processes remain unchanged. Additionally, our two companies will jointly develop future Distribution plans and strategies. Preparations for our consolidated Distribution operations are now underway, and the transition is expected to be completed by mid 2018. The facility will initially service 50 sites –delivering $260M of medical surgical supplies annually through our just-in-timeprocesses.This undertaking was initiated to provide greater value to our Members – and we are committed to maintaining the high service levels they expect during the transition and beyond.

Through this collaboration, we will have an efficient, scalable platform that allows us to leverage Distribution as a key component of our integrated supply chain services. It also provides the basis for our organizations to work together in the future.
