As part of our Reconciliation Journey, Mohawk Medbuy developed the Indigenous LaunchPad to advance Indigenous businesses’ spend, impact on and contributions to Canada’s health care and public sectors. Housed within our online Member Portal, it connects our Member organizations with a curated, diverse and expanding repository of dynamic Indigenous-owned and -led businesses. 

Members can access the Indigenous LaunchPad by clicking on the “Portal Access” button above and logging into MMC’s Member Portal.

  • Increase the visibility of your Indigenous Business with our extensive and growing Membership from across Canada’s health care and public sectors

DEFINITION OF AN INDIGENOUS BUSINESS

Organizations participating in MMC’s Indigenous LaunchPad are asked to self-identify as an Indigenous Business according to the following definition:

  • Businesses, including sole proprietorships, limited companies, co-operatives, partnerships and not-for-profit organizations, that have at least a 51% majority of the business owned and controlled by self-identifying Indigenous Peoples

AND / OR

  • Businesses with at least one-third of all full-time employees being Indigenous (applicable to businesses with 6 or more full-time employees only)
