Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Selects MMC Pharmacy Services
Mohawk Medbuy (MMC) is pleased to announce that Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital (PSFDH) is the latest hospital in Southeastern Ontario to select MMC Pharmacy Services to support their delivery of patient care. Under the agreement, MMC will oversee the sourcing and contract management of pharmaceutical drugs used at both PSFDH sites.
MMC negotiates some of the country’s largest pharmaceutical contracts on behalf of hundreds of hospitals who, like PSFDH, recognize the value of our not-for-profit, shared services model. Other Southeastern Ontario hospitals, including Kingston Health Sciences Centre, Brockville General Hospital and The Ottawa Hospital have all transitioned to Mohawk Medbuy Pharmacy Services over the past year and a half.
These hospitals are diverse in size, scope and the communities they serve – from rural community hospitals to large facilities in major urban centres. Strategically aligning the pharmaceutical procurement needs of hospitals across Southeastern Ontario generates much-needed savings for health care and strengthens the supply chain of lifesaving drugs in the region.

The Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital is a fully accredited acute care health care organization located on two state-of-the-art sites.
