Brant Community Healthcare System Transitioning to Mohawk Medbuy’s Warehousing & Logistics Services

Mohawk Medbuy Corporation (MMC) is pleased to announce that Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) transitioned to our HLI Distribution Centre and Logistics services, effective July 9, 2024. BCHS already utilizes MMC’s supply chain solutions for the sourcing of medical / surgical supplies, pharmaceutical products, capital equipment and nutrition, as well as our advanced Accounts Payable Services.

This next step continues the long-standing, collaborative relationship between our two organizations. BCHS’s Brantford General Hospital will now utilize MMC’s HLI facility for the daily fulfillment of medical / surgical supplies – benefitting from the value and efficiencies of our 100,000 square foot, multi-level distribution centre. It joins other leading Ontario hospitals who are also served by the Oakville-based facility.

“Our relationship with Brant Community Healthcare System exemplifies how MMC is streamlining end-to-end supply chain processes for our growing Membership,” said Tony DiEmanuele, President and CEO, Mohawk Medbuy. “Our integrated supply chain capabilities are bringing value to hospitals and allowing them to focus on patient care.”

“Warehousing and logistics are vital components of the health care supply chain and providing quality care,” said Joe Belancic, Procurement and Nutrition Services Director, BCHS. “Transitioning to MMC for these services will help ensure supply stability and bring new efficiencies, which benefit the communities and patients we serve.”
