Sinai Health Transitioning to Mohawk Medbuy for Pharmacy Services
Mohawk Medbuy Corporation (MMC) is pleased to welcome Sinai Health to our Pharmacy Services program. The renowned academic health sciences centre is part of a significant and growing number of public sector organizations benefitting from the value, innovation and data-driven insights offered by MMC and our not-for-profit, shared services model.
Sinai Health has leveraged MMC’s procurement services for medical/surgical products through an integrated sourcing collaborative for several years. With this announcement, the hospital network is expanding the use of MMC’s value-added solutions to its pharmacies.

Hospital pharmacies are a central component of health care, and MMC’s solutions support pharmacy staff and strengthen the supply of lifesaving drugs. For example, MMC’s MitigAID program is a vital resource for helping hospital pharmacies navigate the daily realities of manufacturer supply disruptions in ways that minimize risk to patients (learn more about MitigAID here). The automated reimbursement component of MitigAID also frees up Pharmacy staff’s valuable time by reducing the administration required to recoup the incremental cost of alternative products.
