Mohawk Medbuy Has a New Burlington, Ontario Address

Effective Monday, January 28, 2019, Mohawk Medbuy consolidated its Burlington and Limeridge Rd., Hamilton offices at a new location in Burlington; 1107 Clay Avenue, Suite 100. The national shared service organization is one of the first tenants of a new office building in Northgate Business Park – just two minutes from their previous address on John Lucas Drive. 

The move was catalyzed by an innovative joint venture between Mohawk Medbuy and Plexxus to create a shared, health care distribution centre in Oakville – one of the largest of its kind in Ontario. That eliminated the need for Mohawk Medbuy to maintain its John Lucas warehouse and allowed the company to find dedicated office space for its Burlington staff as well as members of their Finance and Accounts Payable Centre teams, who were based in Hamilton.

“This move allows us to reduce our overall footprint and bring people together to facilitate even greater collaboration amongst our teams,” said Tony DiEmanuele, Mohawk Medbuy President and CEO. “The fresh, new work environment is a welcome enhancement, particularly for the people from our Limeridge Rd. office, who were in a space that was beyond capacity.”

The not-for-profit organization’s London office and Chedmac Dr. linen facility in Hamilton are unaffected by the move.
